No designer for Dior !?
Dior still has not chosen a head designer after Galliano's Anti-semantic rant. There are rumors that Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang, and Riccardo TIsci will be one of the designers to take over. However, Mark Jacobs recently renewed his contract with Louis Vuitton, Riccardo Tisci states he is very happy at Givenchy, and I haven't heard anything more on Alexander Wang.
Designer Bill Gaytten and his assistant Susanna Venegas had a chance to shine for the Fall 2011 Haute Couture line. The line was busy, unattractive and not very creative. The line was just unimpressive, Christian Dior is probably turning in his grave. Although Galliano was a bit crazy he stuck true to what Dior was famous for, Class, inspiration and femininity.
I hope that Dior finds a new and talented designer that would make Christian Dior proud.

Claws!
There is a new trend with fingernails that I could do without.
They are called Stilettos.
Not only is this vampiress trend extremely unattractive I think they look scary as hell! I'm not sure what would compel any women to look like an animal. These nails are fun in movies for a bitchy villain but in everyday life they just make you look bitchy.
Thanks goodness though, this trend should not be lasting long. We are starting to see a bit more natural shaped nails in Vogue and Cosmopolitan. Lets hope these nails don't come back then they are gone.

Fabric Made of Milk!!!
That's right Microbiologist and designer Anke Domaske has created a fabric made completely of milk. Qmilch, is what they are calling it. The word is a combination of the word quality and the German word for milk.
The sour milk is made into a protein powder, heated, and then spun into fabric. It takes just two liters of water to create half a pound of fabric! This fabric is supposed to be great for people with skin allergy's. Its as soft as silk, and as durable and as breathable as cotton. They found a way to produce this fabric without any chemical additives so it 100% environmentally friendly.
I think its pretty amazing what people can create out of the most unexpected things. I would have never thought it would be possible to make a lasting, good quality fabric out of something we drink.
You can find many garments made of milk in Domaske's Mademoiselle Chi Chi clothing line.

The secret to wearing sky high heels!
PLATFORMS!
I know you all now have the 70's platform shoe in mind but that's not what I'm talking about. There are some cute platform style shoes out now that hold all the benefits of the retro ones.
The secret of the platform shoe is simple you can be wearing six inch heels, but your feet will only feel like your wearing three inches. This is because of the platform wedge at the toe of the shoe. It adds those few inches without the stress on your feet. and you still get the benefits to sexy looking legs. Try it out I'll bet you'll see a difference.

OH COME ON!!!
ok I'm going to take a few minutes to rant.
PARENTS STOP LETTING YOUR CHILDREN GO OUT DRESSED AS HOOKERS!!!!!
I was at a gas station today and a girl stepped out of the car she had to be 10 maybe 11 . Her face was caked in make-up, her shirt was showing her non-existent cleavage and she when she stepped out she was wearing sequined shorts that were so short her ass was hanging out. Her father stepped out of the car and I gave him a look that said "are you fucking kidding me?!" he then glared at me and continued what he was doing.
Now I was no saint when I was younger (sorry daddy lol) but I at least waited until I was 17 to dress like that. My style has transformed quite a bit and I am now, thankfully, over that stage. But the point is I waited till I was a teenager and father didn't know, approve or encourage such behavior.
I don't know what it is about kids wanting to grow up so fast, but parent YOU NEED TO DRAW THE FUCKING LINE!!!!!!!!!! help your kids STAY kids.
There are some great kids clothes that help the look older without looking trashy. It our jobs as parents to help our kids give out the right message about who they are, and hooker should not be what your kids are trying to portray.
Ok I feel a bit better, now here is a list of places you can get cute sensible children clothes. because when your shopping for kids that is where you should be looking.
*The Childerens Place (my favorite)
*Kohls
*Old Nay
*kids gap
*Gymboree
*Carters
Those are just a few, and remember look in THE KIDS DEPARTMENT.

Sexiest Designers!!!!
The sexiest male designer
Tom Ford
Former head designer at Gucci until 2004 when he decided to part ways after an argument over artistic control. Ford uses his raw sex appeal in his advertising and is by far THE sexiest males designer.
Among designing sexy clothing and fragrances he has also added directing into his list of talents. With his first film A Single Man based on a book by Christopher Isherwood, which made its debut in 2009.
Unfortunately for us women Ford is gay, he and his partner, journalist Richard Buckley, have been together since 1986.
but regardless of this mans sexuality you can't deny he is HOT!!!
Sexiest Female designer has to go to
Tamara Mellon
She is the co-founder of Jimmy Choo.
Jimmy Choo specializes in shoes, handbags and accessories. Their merchandise is sexy, appealing to all ages and people can usually tell when your wearing Jimmy Choo.
Mellon got her start with help from her father and her business has been booming ever since.

DRESS FOR YOU!!!
Dress for your body type! just because it's trendy doesn't mean it will look good on you!
I see too many women that are wearing popular clothes that are cute clothes but looks awful on them because they don't know how to dress for their shape. there is an easy way to solve this and I will help.
First you need to figure out what your body type is, its easier then it sounds. all you have to do is take three measurements, your bust, waist and hips. I will explain the best way to measure your self. of course it's not as accurate as someone doing the measuring for you but it works for this purpose.
To Measure your bust
Place the measuring tape around your bust, make sure that it is wrapping around the largest part of your chest, normally the middle where your nipples are.
To Measure your waist
Let the tape fall into the natural curve of your waist, above your belly-button and under your chest.
To Measure your hips
Put the tape around your hip bones and make sure it wraps around the largest part of your butt.
After you've taken your measurements determine what your shape is.
Triangle, or pear shape- If your hips are more then 2 inches larger then your bust
Inverted Triangle- If your bust is more then 2 inches larger then your hips
Rectangle- If your bust, waist and hips are all with-in an inch of each other
Ideal- If your hips are with-in an inch of each other and your waist is at least 10 inches smaller
Hourglass- If your bust and hips are with-in an inch of each other and your waist is at least 12 inches smaller.
Now after you've figured out what body type you are learn what areas you need to hide or accentuate. it's very simple larger areas you need to hide and smaller areas you need to make them look bigger, to achieve the hourglass shape all women want.
I didn't go too in depth but if anyone wants help finding what would look best on you feel free to let me know :)
Until next time

One of my Favorites :)
Christian Dior
Dior got his start in 1947 with "the new look"
He became world famous. In the beginning of his career some women didn't approve of his look on femininity. During a photo shoot the models were attacked to protest this new fashion trend. Once more conservative women got use to "the new look" his career sky rocketed. With him on his journey to fashion stardom he took young Yev Saint Laurent, Who started his career at 21.
Dior is one of my favorites because he brought femininity back after a time of terror, he gave women exactly what they needed to feel like women again. I also love Dior because he brought about the silhouette that made pin-up girls and the rockabilly style that I love so much famous. He was a brilliant and creative man, he was deffinantly one of the fashion greats.
